Bob Mackie had some choice words regarding Kim Kardashian’s choice to wear Marilyn Monroe’s custom 1962 Jean Louis gown.Kardashian wore the historic dress for a brief time at the 2022 Met Gala and changed into a replica after posing on the red carpet.”I thought it was a big mistake,” Mackie, who drew the original sketch of the dress, told Entertainment Weekly.”[Marilyn] was a goddess,” he explained. “A crazy goddess, but a goddess. She was just fabulous. Nobody photographs like that. And it was done for her. It was designed for her. Nobody else should be seen in that dress.”
